The Parish Council adopted the model publication scheme at the meeting on 18th November 2008.
Notes to the Guide:
This guide is published with effect from 1st January 2009, in accordance with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act. The information listed is as comprehensive as possible. If any additional information is required, anyone is encouraged to ask and it will be provided if at all possible or the enquirer assisted in their quest as much as possible.
This Guide is updated from time to time as new documents become available in the Parish office or are placed on the website.
No charges are made for the supply of one copy of any document produced by the Council. If multiple copies should be required, the charges for copying as shown in our services leaflet will apply.
Who we are and what we do
This is the local Council for Narborough & Littlethorpe. The 19 members elected from the two villages meet usually on the third Tuesday monthly at 7.30pm. Services to the villagers include parks, play areas, sports facilities, allotments, cemetery, conservation area, parish centre, village hall, roadside seats, notice boards, the snow warden scheme, the Village Show and numerous other ways of lending a hand to the community. The Council also refers local requirements and problems to other authorities.

Working Groups of Councillors are appointed to oversee each aspect of the Council's work and to research and advise the Council about their various areas of responsibilty. The current groups are: Planning and Environment, Property, Civics, Policy and Finance, Parks and Open Spaces, Council Review.

Elected Members
The most recently available list of Councillors and the Working groups and outside bodies to which they are elected is available at the link above or upon request at the office.
Parish Councillors are available to meet residents of Narborough and Littlethorpe and to discuss any matter you wish to bring to the attention of the Council, between 7pm and 7.25pm prior to each Council meeting.

All financial documents are open to inspection in accordance with Audit regulations, including the Annual Return and Auditor's Report.
A summary of the Budget requirements and Precept request is provided with the Council Tax demand to all residents each year.
