FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000The Freedom of Information Act gives you access to a wide range of information which has been produced and is held by the Council in the Parish Office. This page will give you some details of the information which might be available to you. Some of the information such as Council minutes, Working Group reports and archive material if not on this website can possibly be researched at the Parish Council Office. Requests to see this information must be made to the Clerk to the Council in his capacity as the Councils Proper Officer and he may also with hold information if he thinks it is in the public interest. The Parish Council is also obliged to comply with the conditions laid down in the Data Protection Act 1998 in the releasing of certain information. Documents relating to the normal business of the Council at its monthly meeting such as agendas, minutes, Standing Orders, Working Group and Officers reports, can be viewed at the Parish Office by arrangement with the Clerk. Agendas outlining the Councils business to be transacted are also displayed on the public notice boards throughout the parish and are available to download via the meetings calender or minutes archive sections of the website. |
