Narborough Parish Council is the Local Council for a thriving community in the south west of Leicestershire and comprises the villages of Narborough & Littlethorpe.


Diamond Jubilee Day

Monday 4 June 2012 Narborough Parish Council proudly present "DIAMOND JUBILEE DAY".
A grand extravaganza beginning with a parade from the NARBOROUGH ARMS CAR PARK to NARBOROUGH PARK where you can enjoy a variety of stalls, games and competitions, including a FLOWER SHOW (Registration 10am) and CHILDREN'S CROWN COMPETITION. Afternoon entertainment will be provided by SYSTON MARCHING BAND and in the evening there will be music from the ENDERBY YOUTH BAND and the ZIMBABWEAN CHOIR. The celebration will culminate in a FIREWORKS DISPLAY and the lighting of the NARBOROUGH BEACON.

You can contact the Parish Council and get information in several ways:

1. Via this site, information is frequently updated, or use our Contact Us link in the left hand column.

2. You can download LOCAL INFORMATION at the link on the left of the page. This publication is continuously updated with the help and co-operation of many local people and organisations to whom the council is indebted. It contains information on various Groups, Services, Organisations and Traders and is especially useful to newcomers to the villages. For information on particular items you can use our A-Z of services pages and our site map.

3. Keep an eye on our notice boards for details of meetings etc. Come along and have your say during the PUBLIC FORUM sessions. Or come to the Councils "Members Surgery" which is held for a half hour before each Council Meeting. There you can bring attention to any suggestions, ideas or problems, relevant to the parish, which can be put before the Council on the next agenda.

4. Phone the office, e-mail or write to us. Or why not COME IN, we look forward to seeing you during office hours, 9 am - 1 pm Monday to Friday.
